UMBRELLA GUIDELINES*

  1. Prospects with the following SIC Codes, are eligible for this Internet program.
  2. The account may be domiciled in any state except AK, HI, LA, VA, VT, or WV.
  3. Umbrella limits of $1,000,000 to $10,000,000 are available.
  4. Accounts with up to $25,000,000 in revenue are eligible.
  5. Accounts that have not had liability losses in excess $100,000 in any of the past 5 policy years are eligible.
  6. The proposed Umbrella effective date can be up to 60 days in the future.
  7. Underlying carriers rated “A- VII” or better are acceptable. The NY State Fund and some other state funds are acceptable.
  8. Fleets of up to 499 vehicles, including 49 Heavy or Extra Heavy trucks, are eligible.
  9. Risks whose growth or decline in receipts has been less that 30%, over a 3 year period, are eligible.
  10. The effective date of the underlying GL policy must be within 60 days of the proposed Umbrella effective date. AL and EL policies must be effective within 6 months of the proposed Umbrella effective date.
  11. While all operations must be domestic, up to 49% of revenue can be generated by foreign sales.

SUBMISSION CRITERIA

  1. Please provide four years of loss runs. (Attaching a PDF to an e-mail will allow us to respond promptly).
  2. Supplemental information may be requested depending upon your submitted risk’s exposures.
